About Me

Hi there! My name is Emma and I am a 23 year old artist/designer and model maker from Dublin. I have obtained a bachelors degree in 3D Design, Modelmaking and Digital Art and I graduated with first class honors in November of 2024.

I have always had a passion for art and design, starting from a young age. My love for art grew in secondary school as I experimented with various mediums such as drawing, painting, ceramics, printing, and puppet making—I loved it all. When it came time to choose a higher education course, I found myself particularly drawn to 3D modeling. This led me to enroll in the Modelmaking course at IADT.

The Modelmaking course has significantly enhanced my skills, particularly in transforming ideas from 2D sketches into physical 3D pieces that come to life.

Now that I have graduated with a bachelors degree, I have decided to pursue a career as an art educator and I was accepted into the Professional Masters of Education programme at NCAD, so that I can teach secondary school Art and Design. I began the course in September 2025 and I have gained so much experience so far. I believe that I can come into this profession with fresh ideas and concepts that would inspire future artists.

In my spare time, I love to paint. I enjoy painting nature scenes or any organic subject and experimenting with natural colours. This has also been my favorite part of completing a 3D project, as I strive to paint to a realistic standard and create the illusion that the subject is real.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me and I hope you enjoy your exploration though my portfolio. Please click on my projects page to view my work.
